Friday post: Pure rush
What I Learned About Alcohol & Teenagers:
Alcohol is a dangerous drug that teens shouldn't drink. It can cause them to have memory loss and loss of common sense. It can also ruin your education, for you ca be kicked pout of your school or even your job if you are caught having some. Alcohol is a depression, which makes you sad and tired after a while. It's important to wait to be the allowed age to drink but even then you still might want to wait an extra year or two just to make sure your brain has stopped developing. The heavier you are and the more you ate shortly before you drank, the less of the alcohol effects will be in effect. Male are also able to drink more before they become drunk.
What is EXISTENTIALISM?
Existentialism is the feeling of having a meaningful life. You try to find your reason to live.
How it Applies to Me:
I want to find purpose in life. I can do this (Hopefully) by getting a job to help others out. Weather its by being a video game designer or a YouTuber, I will then feel like I have lived my purpose in life.

GJ Day 8
HOW TO PLAY:
WASD = move, Mouse = turn, F = use/pick up, scroll on mouse & 1-8 = hold item, C = crouch, G = open/close inventory, Shift = Run, Right-click on item = info, left-click on hot-bar item = use, R = reload gun.
HUNTERS:
I had no hunters in my world. I think it's because I didn't build enough stuff in the game, yet. I might have needed to build certain things or a certain amount of things for them to start spawning. This may not be correct, though.
IF I WERE TO START OVER, HOW FAR WOULD I GET IN 30 MINUTES?
I think in 30 minutes, I would be able to at least build a floor for my house and maybe even a storage crate. I would also probably die only 0-3 times. It's doesn't seem like much, but it is a lot.
RESULTS:
I couldn't do it. I had every item to make the platform, except for the nails. I had 9/10 nails and I couldn't find the last one. I died a total of 1 time by a ninja wolf that didn't even warn me it was there. I had all the items I needed to build my house, but the wolf killed me before I could build it. So the point is that this game is really hard and it takes forever to do anything in this game, even if you know what you are doing.

GJ Day 4
How to make:
Wood Platform ^
Wood Wall ^
Storage Crate ^
Base Command Unit ^
Wood Planks ^
Cordage ^
Tips of the day:
1. You can fuse berries and water together to make a smoothie of some sort.
2. once an animal starts furiously growling at you, you are pretty much dead.
3. AVOID THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!
What I think:
This game is overly difficult. There are next to no resources that you can find, and animals are WAAAAAAY too hard to kill. I died at least ten times today from wolves and bears that were nearly invisible. There is also NO WAY to escape the animals once they start chasing you. There are also too many of these animals around. There are chickens and rabbits, but they run away way too quickly. I don't like this game.

GJ Day 3
What you need for a house:
You need wood planks, nails, and fiber. You can only find nails in crates.
Benefits of a house:
1. You can figure out where you are and where you last died.
2. It protects you from animals if completed.
3. It can possibly keep you warm over the night.
This is a tree that will drop 6 wood once cut down. v

GJ Day 2
What I did Right:
I hunted for resources as much as I could and looked for a place to make my house. I also made sure to avoid other animals, for they would most likely kill me.
What I did Wrong:
I died in a short time because I didn't run away from the animal when it growled. I was trying to pick up the wood I got from the tree. Sadly, I did die. The next time, I also ran into a wolf, so I tried to run away from it, but I couldn't figure out how. I was still able to escape luckily, but It did take a while.
Loot:

Trees:
Each tree drops 3-4 logs when chopped....
Accept for this one. This one drops 5.
bushes (Fiber & Medicine):
Soon-To-Be Base:
Tips & Tricks
1: C=crouch, Shift=Sprint, F=Pick Up, Left-Click=Use Item, WASD=Move, G=Open & Close Inventory.
2: You will need to kill animals in order to get food. Eating is important.
3: Look for as many resources as you can, for you need a lot of them to do anything.
Opinion of Game:
I haven't had many fights yet, so the blood issue I had earlier isn't a problem yet. The game seems so far a bit bland and boring. There doesn't seem to be enough resources to do much for a long time. We'll see what I think tomorrow.

Game Journalism Day 1
What are a person's basic needs?
Every person needs Food, Water, Oxygen, sleep, and Shelter.
Subsistence
What is the definition of the title of the game?
"The action or fact of maintaining or supporting oneself at a minimum level."-Dictionary
Description:
Subsistence is a game where you have to use all your "Subsistence's" carefully to survive. It's kinda like Minecraft or 7 days to die in the way that you have to find resources to survive as long as you can. You also have to craft everything together just like Minecraft.
Creators:
This game was created by one guy who runs a company called; "ColdGames" The persons name is Tom Shaw.
Similar games:
As I have already stated, this game is like Minecraft and 7 days to die in the way that you only have a limited amount of resources and you have to fine more in order to live as long as you can. The main difference to this game and Minecraft is that this game is much more violent than Minecraft. Another difference is that Minecraft is a fun and creative game that everyone can play. This one isn't. I hope you can turn the blood effects off in this game. If not, then that is gunna suck. It seems like there isn't too much fighting in this game, so that's good. I hate violent games.
Early Access:
Early access is when you buy a game before it is completed, that way you can tell the creator any problems with the game and the creator can use the money earned to make the game better.
Features:
Crates & boxes will spawn everywhere, You can craft mostly anything you want, you are effected by climate, you can break your legs, trees won't be permanently destroyed when you cut them, you have limited ammo, other animals can and will kill you, you are trapped inside a fenced area, and other cpu's can build structures.
The First Thing You Should Do:
The first thing you should do is look for resources because you need a lot to do anything in this game. Water and other resources can be found anywhere and you will need them. You should also stay away from animals like bears, for the can kill you with ease.

Friday Post #3
Photoshop:
I used the pen tool to create the Iris on the hand instead of a layer style. This was a pain since I had to copy the iris along with other every part of the eye which caused a lot more time and effort spent finishing the project.
To make the hand look the way it does; add a galaxy image into Photoshop and have it the size of the hand, CTRL-CLICK the hands thumbnail, CTRL-SHIFT-I, and (Make sure you're on the galaxy layer) hit delete. CTRL-D to un-highlight. Beside Opacity on the left, on the right of it there will be a thing that says "Normal." Click on it and change it to whatever you want.
Particle Clicker:
JTN is a reference to a french coin used in coffee machines to, get this, buy coffee!!!!
RANDOM QUESTION:
There isn't really anything I'm good at that no one else knows about. Everyone already knows what I'm good at; Playing video Games, Making & editing videos, and doing things on the computer.

Friday Post #3
Khan Academy:
^(I'll be trying to get to 50'000 points on my free time)^
In khan Academy, I learned how to code. I learned how to use them to do things like colour, draw, and animate. A shortcut i learned was that instead of writing out a whole variable sequence, you can just type += to do the exact same thing. to animate, You need to put the items in a variable called draw= function () { };. You'll also need to change certain parts of the things you want to be animated into a word that can change during time. An example is itemSize=1; put itemSize in the length and width sections and it will grow.
Photoshop:
In Photoshop, I made images have shadows and animate. I learned how to add effects, shades, and animations to my images. Some shortcuts I learned are: To transform an image, click Ctrl-T, to unhilight, click Ctrl-D, and to fix a mistake, click Ctrl-Z. To animate, go onto timeline, click the arrow on the item you want to animate, click on the stopwatch when you are at the beginning, drag the blue arrow over to the end of the bar, and click the stopwatch again. Then drag the item across the screen to have it move there at the end of the animation.
