Friday Post #2
What I've Done This Week:
This week, I've been doing coding on Khan Academy. So far, I have completed 7 challenges/ projects so far. I am only done 18% of all assignments on this website. That's a lot left. Right now, I have completed up to the part where they teach you how to animate. I have completed 2 animations so far, which aren't on my blog yet, for the section of animation isn't completed yet.
What I've Learned:
Circle: The code for a circle is; ellipse( x, y, w, h); X&Y are where the circle is located, w&h are for how long and tall the circle will be.
Square: Code = rect(x, y, w, h, *r); r is optional. r stands for Radius. This changes how round the edges are.
Line: Code = line( x1, y1, x2, y2); x1&y1 shows where the line starts and x2&y2 shows where the line ends.
Colour of Items: Code = fill(000, 000, 000); You can change the colour by changing the numbers.
Colour of Background: Code = background(000, 000, 000);
Capturing Animations: Download Chrome Capture onto your computer, Click the Icon in the top right corner, drag it over your animation, click record, once you're done click stop recording.
My Opinion:
My opinion of Khan Academy is that I like it. I enjoy coding the way they make you. I also like how the teach you how to code via video with commentary. This is the best way for me to learn something, so I'm glad they teach you this way. Coding this way isn't too much of a challenge which is nice. Things like animation can get pretty difficult, but trust me, you'll figure it out. I would recommend Khan Academy to anyone who wants to learn Coding.

My First Week
What I did this week.
So far, I have completed 4 assignments and am working on the 5th. The first two are ones we do every year to warm up and get use to using blogger, remembering how it works. The next one was one I've done before too. Playing a game, while taking screenshots for accomplishing certain tasks. The last one was done using pivot. I did something like this some time before, but this time, we have to do 2. We haven't really done much new things this week.
What I learned this week.
The thing I learned most this week is how the new version of pivot animator. I haven't used it regularly since I was, like 8, so remembering how it works is great. I feel young again. I also learned how to change the colours of my blog, which is pretty cool. Now my blog looks even cooler than it did before.
A tip I have for blogger is: If you wanna change your blogger colours, go to the "My blogs" section and make sure you're on the blog you want. then go to template, then click "Customize." Once there, click "Advanced." Then change the colours to whatever you want.
A tip I have for pivot is: If you want to speed it up or slow it down, go to the top left corner where the scroll bar is. Move it up to speed up your animation, and down to slow it.
My opinion of Pivot.
Pivot is a decent animation tool, but there are better ones out there. I'd recommend this to animation beginners or people who can't draw, like me. It is a bit slow to create animations, though. If you know a better animation too, then use that one instead.

what I want to learn in IT
One thing I'd like to learn is some more advanced tools for Adobe Photoshop. We've done plenty of projects on this tool and I think I'm ready to take it to the next level. I want to learn more advanced ways of making cool images. I want to be challenged and grow with my knowledge with this tool. I can't wait to do projects on Adobe Photoshop.
The thing I'd like to learn the most in IT is how to use Adobe Premiere. I love making videos, but I have trouble editing them because I have nothing to edit them with. If I could learn how to use Adobe Premiere, It could help me out in the future when I get a computer that could actually run it. It would also be a pretty cool different project that I'm sure most people would enjoy.
